Camastra is a small inland town in the Province area of Agrigento.
The town was founded in 1620 by Giovanni Lucchesi and at that time it was called Ramulia.
Later It became an estate of Lanza family.
The most important local religious feast takes place in September and it is dedicated to the local patron Saint Biagio.
